Saltbar presents Passion for Fashion 2011 featuring the latest collections from Lisa Brown, Seafolly and local fashion boutique, Uber Cool. The inaugural event will be held at Saltbar on Friday 24 June 2001 and presented by TV celebrity host Natalie Gruzlewski and fashion icon Di Cant, host of the Australian Fashion Design Awards. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Conquer Cancer Foundation in support of 6 local girls who will cycle 200 kilometres in 2 days in the fight against cancer.

The glamorous Passion for Fashion Cocktail Party launches at 7pm on Friday 24 June at Saltbar and will give guests the chance to mingle with celebrity and style icons while catching the first glimpse of the latest fashions.

Saltbar has secured celebrity host Natalie Gruzlewski from the Channel 9 programs Getaway and Farmer Wants a Wife to hosting the event, being just one of the channel 9 celebrities supporting this event.

Di Cant, who has been a leading figure in the Australian Fashion Industry, will be compering the fashion parade. Throughout her long career in the Fashion industry, Di has styled and compeered fashion shows and season launches and, for the past 28 years, has held the position of Fashion Manager for the Australian Fashion Design Awards, as seen on Channel 9 each year.

Another Australian fashion icon will be showcased at Passion for Fashion. Lisa Brown’s signature designs that are individual, feminine and feel as beautiful on the skin as they look on the body will grace the catwalks at Saltbar. Lisa's designs have graced catwalks at Sydney Fashion Week, won the Supreme Award at the NRA Australian Fashion awards and are regularly lauded by fashion press but more importantly to Lisa; real women, who chose fashion that reflects their own unique individuality and style – just like her.

Australia’s swimwear icon, Sunburn will also reveal their latest fashions. For Sunburn, summer never ends and as Australia’s best bikini bar they are proud to stock the stand out pieces from Seafolly, Jets, Isola by Megan Gale, Sun seeker, Baku, 2 Chillies, Anna and Boy plus many other brands.

Local boutique Uber Cool is Kingscliff’s lastest new stylish fashion boutique and is the perfect place to shop for those with the taste for European and Australian Designers labels such as Notila, Odd Molly, Alice McCall, Camilla Franks Caftans, Mimosa and more.

Saltbar will be donating proceeds from every ticket sold to support the Casuarina Beach Bums – Conquer Cancer Fundraiser. Six local girls Kathy McGarry, Tarnya Sim, Tiana Dustow, Karen Burke, Kate Stoten and Gillian Middlebrook will be cycling 200-kilometres in two-days during August to raise funds for Queensland’s Institute of Medical Research and cancer studies.

Support Conquer for Cancer and enjoy a great girl’s night out. The Passion for Fashion 2011 Cocktail Party will be held from 6pm to 9pm on Friday 24 June 2011. Tickets are only $65 and include delicious canapés and Jansz Tasmania Premium NV champagne cocktails on arrival.
