Saltbar Grand Auction Terms and Conditions
Competition Terms and Conditions for Saltbar Grand Auction.
1. Information regarding how to enter, how to claim and details of prizes form
part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be
acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Auction Dollars that can be used to bid for prizes can be collected by
purchasing selected products: Miller Chill, Peroni, Miller, Canadian Club, Blue
Tongue, Peroni Leggera, Jim Beam and all Coca Cola soda varieties.
3. To be eligible to bid at the auction entrants must sign up as a member of
Club Saltbar. Membership is free and can be obtained by clicking here. To be able to attend the auction and bid on items you
must be present at the Auction at Saltbar Beach Bar and Bistro at 8pm on Sunday
26 June 2011.
4. The highest bidder will win the item they are bidding on.
5. Prizes will be available for collection at the time of the auction.
6. The person who is bidding is deemed to be the winner of the prize if they
are the highest bidder. Entrants may pool their auction dollars though Saltbar
will only recognise the person bidding as the winner.
7. Auction dollars are not redeemable for cash and are for use only in the
Saltbar Grand Auction on Sunday 26 June 2011.
8. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. Non cash prizes cannot be
redeemed for cash. The value of the prizes is accurate as at the commencement
of this promotion. Saltbar accepts no responsibility for any variation in the
value of a prize after that date.
9. Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro, its associated agencies and companies and the
agencies and companies associated with Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro will not be
liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or
consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or
death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s
negligence) by any person in connection Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro or
accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded
by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by
law).
10. All Auction Dollars will be the property of Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro.
The information entrants provide will be used by Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro
for the purpose of conducting this promotion and for other promotional
purposes. Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro may disclose entrants’ personal
information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this
promotion or communicating with the entrants and to State and Territory lottery
departments and winners’ names may be published as required under the relevant
legislation. Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro is bound by the National Privacy
Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants can request access to the personal
